We had a great time here! We stopped in during the quarry days festival to have a rest and have some food. Food was great, took a bit of time getting out, but was worth it. Our server was an absolute gem and really personable, but they were a bit slow on the coffee and water refills. Overall good experience and we’ll be back!
Thought I would give this place another try now that it’s under new management. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the 4 piece snack with gravy. The meal came out hot and both the chicken and fries were crisp. The oil was at the perfect temperature as there was not a drop of residual oil to be seen on my plate. The new owners appear to be really keen to deliver a quality product. My server was friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back.
I visit chicken chef frequently. I found this place very friendly and always ready to greet their customers with warm wishes. They have great customer service. I never got to wait more than expected time for my order. Especially they give their customers best services with best tasting pizza and excellent crust . I recommend everyone to visit this place.

We were in stonewall for a hockey tournament and they were able to accommodate our entire team, plus parents and siblings in a separate room. They were extremely friendly, service was quick, zero complaints on wrong orders etc like normally happens with large groups. It all worked out great and highly recommend them for large groups. Food was typical for a chicken chef. Thanks again for having us!
Tried it before it shut down. Absolutely terrible… But since I saw it was open again under new owners, I had to give it a try again. I was definitely blown away by the service I received, the new owners have fully restored what chicken chef was all about. The absolute first time I could say the chicken was cooked perfect! The new owners know how to run a business! Very polite, very friendly and very outgoing! Will be back again regularly!

Tastefully remodelled and beautifully redecorated version, under recently new ownership, of a long-time favourite restaurant in Stonewall, Manitoba. The two of us went there for a light supper on the first evening after moving in to our new abode. We were pleasantly surprised at the fresh new atmosphere. Requested a hot chicken sandwich (a nice twist on the beef classic) and a B.L.T. with fries (we shared the fries, of course ). Our meals came promptly, hot, generous, and delicious. Harminder, our server, was friendly, attentive, helpful, and polite. Thank you for welcoming us to our new community with good food, nice surroundings, and a smiling face.
